Access Statement 

Moor Hall is a grade II* listed gentry house of mid-sixteenth century origin and one of the most important listed buildings in the UK.

Arrival & Car Parking

Check-in is available from 3pm on day of arrival and we kindly request rooms are vacated by 11am on day of departure. Please call to make arrangements should you wish for an earlier check-in, we are always happy to look after your luggage, whilst you explore the area.

On arrival, follow the signs up the main drive way. Please do stop by our front door, where you will be met. Luggage can be unloaded at this time and will be taken straight to your room. Cars can then be parked in our car park. There are designated disabled parking spaces.

We have two Porsche electric charging points in our rear car park, which is accessed by driving past the rear of Moor Hall. Charging a Porsche vehicle has no cost, for all other vehicles it is £5.

Bedrooms

We have seven en-suite bedrooms, five of which are situated on the first floor with access via a staircase. Due to the age of the property we do not have a lift, however we have two en-suite guest bedrooms situated within our gatehouse on the ground floor, a very short walk from the main hall, within the grounds. Our restaurant, bar and lounges are all on ground level.  The Barn restaurant is situated on the first floor and we have a lift for guests who cannot use the stairs.

Public Toilets

The gents, ladies and disabled toilets can be found in our inner hall area by reception. Each room has non-slip flooring and tiled throughout.

Gardens & Grounds

There are five acres of gardens including our walled garden, growing kitchen garden and formal gardens with a beautiful lake.

Special Dietary Requirements

We are happy to cater to food allergies and special dietary requirements, please give notice of these at least 24 hours before your stay by telephoning our reception team on 01695 572511.

Additional Information

In the case of a fire, an alarm sounds continuously. Please advise if you have a hearing impediment or if you would require assistance with evacuation at the time of booking or check-in. There are fire extinguishers throughout the Hall and fire exits are well signed and lit.

All our staff have regular training that includes fire and emergencies.

Smoking is only permitted outside in the designated smoking area.
