Mark Birchall and Moor Hall Restaurant with Rooms are proud to partner with Porsche Centre Preston. In a bid to support a more sustainable driving ethos, Chef Patron and Director of Moor Hall, Mark Birchall and Tom Fox, Centre Principal of Porsche Centre Preston set about the install of Lancashire's first Porsche electric vehicle (EV) charging points here at Moor Hall back in 2021.
From here, synergies between the brands was apparent, and a commercial partnership agreed. Ferry Porsche was inspired to build the sports car of his dreams. Here, we share the story of Chef Patron, Mark Birchall's, dream of Moor Hall. A dream fuelled by artistry, craftmanship, innovation and sustainability. A burning desire to be the best. Today, guests can enjoy the 2 Michelin Star restaurant with its Green Star accolade, nestled in five acres of beautiful gardens, offering a sensory experience as the home-grown produce is transformed into culinary art. Lancashire is a land of abundance. Our gardens teem with fruit and vegetables and flowers and herbs. In season here you might eat peas straight out of the pod, so fresh all they need is a touch of salt and nasturtium oil. What we don’t grow we seek out from the amazing produce tended and nurtured by local farmers and artisans.

On site we’re also busy with charcuterie, bread-making and our own micro-dairy. There’s always something interesting to explore or a discovery to be made. And we like to share what we find.
