Festive Celebrations at The Barn at Moor Hall
Throughout December, The Barn at Moor Hall will be serving a special Festive Set Menu, alongside a series of events to celebrate Christmas and New Year.
Join us for Christmas Eve lunch, Christmas Day lunch, or welcome 2027 with a special New Year’s Eve dinner, followed by live music into the early hours.
The Festive Set Menu is available Wednesday to Saturday, from 2nd–30th December 2026, priced at £65 per person for lunch and £85 per person for dinner.
Over at Moor Hall Restaurant with Rooms, we’ll be hosting our exclusive New Year’s Eve celebration. Dining-only reservations are available, or guests can make a stay of it with our Ultimate New Year Residential Package. Please see below for further details.
Christmas Eve
Start the celebrations early. Christmas Eve lunch is priced at £150 for four courses. We offer a half-portion for children priced at £75.
Christmas Day
Enjoy a spectacular five-course lunch with all the trimmings. Priced at £295 per person. We offer a half-portion for children, priced at £175.
New Year’s Eve
Bid farewell to 2026 in style. Enjoy a five-course dinner, and, of course, a celebratory glass of sparkling wine and firework display at midnight. The party continues after midnight with live music. Priced at £225 per person.
New Year’s Eve at The Barn (early sitting)
Celebrate the New Year with a four-course dinner at The Barn, As this is an early sitting please note that the table will need to be vacated by 8pm. Priced at £150 per person.
Field Notes
Lancashire is a land of abundance. Our gardens teem with fruit and vegetables and flowers and herbs. In season here you might eat peas straight out of the pod, so fresh all they need is a touch of salt and nasturtium oil. What we don’t grow we seek out from the amazing produce tended and nurtured by local farmers and artisans.
On site we’re also busy with charcuterie, bread-making and our own micro-dairy. There’s always something interesting to explore or a discovery to be made. And we like to share what we find.
This September, some of the country’s most talented hospitality professionals will come together for the final of the Master of Culinary Arts (MCA) – one of the industry’s most respected accolades.
Organised by the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts and held only once every four years, the MCA recognises exceptional standards across Kitchen, Pastry and Restaurant Service. This year, Mark Birchall will be involved as Honorary Judge for Kitchen, joining an experienced panel tasked with assessing the finalists as they put their skills to the test.
We are delighted to share that Moor Hall has been named the No. 5 restaurant in the UK at the National Restaurant Awards 2026.
