Festive Celebrations at The Barn at Moor Hall

Throughout December, The Barn at Moor Hall is running a Festive Set menu from Wednesday to Saturday, priced from £55 for three courses*. Guests can also enjoy various special menus for Christmas Eve lunch, Christmas Day lunch, and a New Year’s Eve dinner.

Moor Hall Restaurant with Rooms will host an exclusive event on New Year’s Eve. Prices are dining only, for The Ultimate New Year resident package please see below for more details.

*Festive set lunch menu at The Barn is available 12 pm-2 pm, Thursday to Saturday, Festive set dinner is available 6 pm – 9 pm is priced at £75 and is available Wednesday to Friday. Our Festive set menus run from 3/12/2025 to 30/12/2025 and are subject to our normal booking terms & conditions.

Christmas Eve

Start the celebrations early. Christmas Eve lunch is priced at £145 for five courses. We offer a half-portion for children priced at £75.

Christmas Day

Enjoy a spectacular four-course lunch with all the trimmings. Priced at £250 per person. We offer a half-portion for children, priced at £125.

New Year’s Eve

Bid farewell to 2025 in style. Enjoy a four-course dinner, and, of course, a celebratory glass of sparkling wine and firework display at midnight. The party continues after midnight with live music. Priced at £195 per person.

New Year’s Eve at The Barn (early sitting)

Celebrate the New Year with a four-course dinner at The Barn, As this is an early sitting please note that the table will need to be vacated by 8pm. Priced at £150 per person.

The Barn

Moor Hall's characterful, Michelin-starred sister restaurant, oﬀering a simpler menu but with the same passion and attention to detail.

Rooms

There are beautifully designed rooms in the historic Main House and the Gatehouse, along with a group of elegant Garden rooms, in which to relax, revive and refresh amid greenery and birdsong.

Field Notes

Lancashire is a land of abundance. Our gardens teem with fruit and vegetables and flowers and herbs. In season here you might eat peas straight out of the pod, so fresh all they need is a touch of salt and nasturtium oil. What we don’t grow we seek out from the amazing produce tended and nurtured by local farmers and artisans.

On site we’re also busy with charcuterie, bread-making and our own micro-dairy. There’s always something interesting to explore or a discovery to be made. And we like to share what we find.
