The Barn at Moor Hall will reopen for outdoor dining on Tuesday 13th April, and indoor dining on Tuesday 18th May. Moor Hall Restaurant with Rooms will reopen on Wednesday 19th May.

The Barn at Moor Hall, Mark Birchall’s neighbourhood restaurant, offers a delicious and varied menu, showcasing the best of seasonal dishes, as well as a great selection of wines & beverages; children’s menus, and the best Sunday lunch you’ll ever try.

The Barn itself is a charming, rustic setting packed full of character, with fantastic views out to Moor Hall and the lake. It holds a Michelin Plate accreditation and 3 AA Rosettes.

We are currently seating tables of maximum six people. Indoor dining is available from Tuesday 18th May, and outdoor dining available from Tuesday 13th April. Whilst we're offering outside dining only, our beautiful terrace, which overlooks the grounds of Moor Hall and the lake, will be covered, with patio heaters and parasols available too.

A discretionary service charge of 10% is added to restaurant and bar bills, all of which goes to our staff. Please inform us of any allergy requirements in advance by calling us on 01695 572 511. The Barn at Moor Hall is closed every Monday.

MENUS


The Barn currently offers a delicious and varied menu created with the best seasonal ingredients, most grown within Moor Hall's five-acre grounds or from local suppliers. Enjoy Holstein Friesian tartare, smoked onion & nasturtium; try our renowned turbot with wilted lettuce, crushed jerseys, brown shrimp & cucumber or satisfy your sweet tooth with Tarleton strawberries, lemon verbena & meringue. Visit us on a Sunday for our incredibly popular Sunday lunch with roasted 40 day aged Lake District beef complete with all the trimmings.

The Barn holds a Michelin Plate accreditation and 3 AA Rosettes. We also offer a children's menu for under 12's. Please advise us of any dietary requirements in advance of your visit.
